Rick has been involved with horses since 1998.  
Although he doesn't ride much, he enjoys playing
with the foals and showing in-hand classes.  He
also makes a great handyman!!

Horses have been my passion since I was able to
say the word "horse"!  I didn't start riding till my
early teens and soon after I became a working
student for a three day event rider.  It wasn't until
1998 that I was finally able to have my own horses
and to seriously start training, showing & breeding
Appaloosa's & Appaloosa Sporthorses.  I mainly
show locally in dressage, eventing & jumpers, but
do occassionally show USDF rated and ApHC
shows.  Many of our horses have earned local &
national points and numerous championships
and year end awards.  In addition to working with
the horses, I also coach and give free lessons to
children/young adults who's families can't afford
the expense of lessons.  My students have seen
their share of "blues" in the ring.
Breanna is the newest filly to arrive at the farm!  At
just barely 2 years old, she made her showring
debut in '06.  She loves to ride and help take care of
the horses.  Be looking for some serious
competition in the future!!
